Basics

As you might have already noticed, people call me Honey. Although it is not the name my parents gave me at birth, it has become a nickname I plan to use for the rest of my life. Seriously. Only my close online friends know my real name (and those who I have exchanged cards with), and I would like to keep it that way.

Enough about my name, let’s move onto the rest of the facts about me. I am currently sixteen years old, and I was born in the same place where I still live, Buenos Aires - in Argentina, that’s in South America, that’s in the same world and universe where you are at.

I am in the second year of high school. My school is oriented, as most schools in my country are, what means you choose the mode that suits you. I am in the Communication, Art and Design mode, and very pleased with my choice!

I am a dreamer, I sometimes prefer to live into my own daydream instead of facing reality, but I’ve been doing self-therapy to get over this problem, and I am happy to announce it’s working: I am now (comparing myself one or two years ago) getting out of my bubble and living with other people in good harmmony. I had several personality problems when I was younger, but that’s hopefully resolved nowadays. Go me? Haha, yes, yay!

I am sometimes ashamed to admit I like way too many things. I can’t avoid getting hyper-excited when I am asked about the TV shows, for instance, I like, and the response usually scares people. And myself. But I am a proud fan, and that’s what counts.
I love sports - watching them on TV, watching them live, or taking part in the activity. I like moving my body! My favourite sport is Football (soccer, yes) to watch and sometimes play, though I suck at kicking the ball. I love playing Tennis, though. Since I was a little kid I enjoyed this sport. I am not attending my tennis classes anymore for various reasons, but I adore playing for leisure from time to time. And watching it on TV, surely!
Since I was three years old (my uncle is a professional swimmer, so I had to start, or to start - there was no choice, haha!) to late 2004, I’ve swimmed constantly. I loved swimming, and I was very, very good at it (I won several local tournaments), but for a stupid reason I quit going to the swimming pool and I rarely go back to train. That’s a real shame, but I plan to train again sometime soon.

I also love music to death. I can’t spend a single day without listening to my favourite artists. I also love listening to the radio (my favourite station is FM Kabul 107.9). I have this nifty musical player next to my bed that is rarely turned off. And everytime I am on my computer, Winamp is running. I love going to concerts, too! The excitement is awesome, and there’s no feeling comparable to seeing your favourite band metres away from you.
To sum up, I love music, period.

My dating record is shameful. The last time I had a boyfriend was back in late 2002, early 2003, a crazy summer. We were too young to consider that a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship, but we liked it. I never had a serious relationship after that. A couple of failed potential relationships, but that’s all.
I am in love with this boy I like to call Monkey (for various reasons I won’t detail here), but nothing ever happened between us. I have been crazily obsessed with him for six months, until I decided it was time to give him a break and watch other boys. Two other have entered in my life, and I now have three boys to think about. Wow.

Just to close the introduction to the being you know as me, I am obsessed with Brandon Flowers (The Killers’ frontman) and Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys’ frontman). I of course have more obsessions, but these two are scarily huge!
